The Public Celebration of Mass
From Wednesday 18 March, the public celebration of Mass is suspended in all Churches in the Diocese. This includes all religious houses where the public may attend and special gatherings of the faithful.
All the faithful are dispensed from the obligation to attend Mass on Sunday and Holy Days of obligation.
There are opportunities to participate in Mass via radio, TV, and web streaming.
Mass services on Radio channel
Radio Maria are broadcasting 24hours a day, with daily Mass at 10am. Radio Maria is available on: Saorview channel 210 online Radio Maria.

During these days, Pope Francis has arranged for his celebration of daily Mass to be televised from the Vatican. The broadcast is simultaneously translated into the English language.

Eternal Word Television Network is a Catholic television station which broadcasts from the USA programmes some of which are produced or presented by Irish priests and religious, including daily Mass. EWTN is available on Sky TV (Channel 588) and free to view online:
